Diane Alexander
My name is Diane Alexander. For the past 28 years, I have been dedicated to helping young learners build a strong foundation for lifelong success. Throughout my career, I have taught Pre-K, Kindergarten, First Grade, and Reading Recovery, but my greatest passion is teaching 4K and giving children a joyful, engaging first school experience.
As a 4K teacher at CCDC since 2017, I strive to create a classroom where every child feels safe, loved, and excited to learn. I believe that the preschool years are a time of incredible growth, and I enjoy nurturing children's curiosity through hands-on learning, play, exploration, literacy, and meaningful relationships. My goal is to help each child develop confidence, independence, kindness, and a love of learning that will carry them through their educational journey.
Outside of the classroom, I am blessed with three grown children and two wonderful grandchildren who bring so much joy to my life. I also enjoy spending time in the mountains, gardening, and making memories with my family.
I feel honored to be part of the CCDC family and look forward to partnering with parents to make each child's 4K year a positive, memorable, and successful experience.
